Four Children Pass University Entrance Exams
The results of the 2024 academic year university entrance examination, held nationwide in Myanmar this March, were recently announced.
This year, due to the earthquake near Mandalay, grading and other processes were significantly delayed. Normally results are released in early June, but the announcement was postponed until this time.
We extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the disaster and our deep gratitude to everyone who, despite the challenges, devoted themselves to supporting the children.
At Dream Train, out of the eight children who wished to pursue higher education, four succeeded in passing the exam: Khin San San Win, Nann Roon, Nar Lar, and Moe Lar.
Among them, Khin San San Win earned a distinction in Economics.
Those who did not pass this time are already taking their next steps—some have found employment, while others are setting new goals for their future. We are truly proud of each child’s choices and challenges.
We hope that every child who wishes to learn will always have access to the opportunities and environment they need. Dream Train will continue to stand by them and support their future.
Children Full of Energy Even in the Midst of the Rainy Season!
After returning from school, the children quickly change out of their uniforms into comfortable clothes and dash out to the playground.
The rain-soaked ground, dotted with puddles, turns into a giant watery court. Every time they chase the ball, splashes rise high, often leaving them covered in mud from head to toe.
Yet, the children laugh and enjoy themselves, saying this is one of the joys of the rainy season.
At Dream Train, we cherish the time children spend playing freely and staying active, regardless of weather or surroundings. Through these experiences, we hope they will gain the ability to find joy no matter the environment.
This precious time is made possible thanks to the warm support we receive from people in Japan and around the world.
